Busy with work and life in Dublin, Peter enlisted the help of his retired father, Owen, to welcome and assist his guests on arrival.
What started as a simple rental idea took a magical turn when a group of lively older adult travelers came to stay. Under Owen’s wing, the guests enjoyed pub nights, sightseeing adventures, dinners, and rounds of golf. It wasn’t just a typical host-guest dynamic; authentic friendships bloomed, and good times were had by all. But this was not a once-off; the same kind of social interaction tended to be repeated when fellow older adults came to stay. Peter realised something special was unfolding that was enriching his father’s life, as well as bringing joy to the visitors. With the common denominator being the age demographic, Peter set out to build a bespoke social travel club that could empower and enrich the lives of older adults everywhere.
